Today

Well,  we're on our way to building a new house.  We've finished choosing everything and are pleased with our selections.  It was actually pretty easy.  We're also next on their list to get our house built.  I am excited and ready for it to begin (and be over)!

I was saddened to hear about President Hinckley's death, but I know there was great rejoicing in heaven at his arrival.  I will always be very grateful for his words, his love, his enthusiasm, and example.  What a wonderful, inspired prophet to have lead and guide us through these times.

Family--I am still in shock over Uncle Clayton's death.  So sudden.  I will sincerely miss him.  We always looked forward to his visits.  He always livened up the atmosphere.  I hope to see all of you very soon in Vernal.

Love you all!

Today

Hello friends and family,

Several of you have already beat me to this and I appreciate it!  It has motivated me to create one myself.  I love reading yours.  Hopefully you'll enjoy mine.

For an update, we have moved from St. George, UT to Logan, UT the end of November.  Jared, my husband, got a new job at Utah State University.  He is now the Director of Online Ed.  We are now living in Aggie Village, married student housing, with two tiny bedrooms, no dishwasher or washer/dryer, and lovely center-block walls.  However, this past holiday weekend, we made the decision to build us a house!  We are so totally excited!!  It will be really great--something we have dreamed of doing.  If you'd like to see the tentative plans, go to www.buildwithvisionary.com.  Our home is the Denali plan with Elevation B.  I'll get some pictures of our lot this weekend when I go to pick out the colors of our house and flooring.  We will be waiting it out here at Aggie Village, but I think it will be worth it!!

I am happy to be living here in Logan as that we are closer to our families.  But I do miss St. George and all of our friends.  It is really cold up here, but Owen and I are excited to have snow.

Until next time!
